The fairgrounds are easily accessible off I-35 in southern Minnesota. This show prides itself as being a family oriented show with Junior show, Junior activities, and educational activities. The fairgrounds has great space for both exhibitors and visitors by making room for all Highland cattle breeders and enthusiasts to come and enjoy the spacious 17,000 sq ft cattle haven along with a 9,000 sq ft show ring. The grounds will open for arrival on Wednesday, September 9, at 5 pm, Junior show sale cattle must be in place by 9 am on Friday, and sale and open show animals must be in place by 3pm Friday afternoon.

Animals may leave at the conclusion of the open show and must be off the fairgrounds
by 11am on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

We have brought the NCHCA Show and Sale together to make this a centerpoint event for the year. If you have never consigned animals to one of the NCHCA sales in the past, we hope you will consider consigning this year. There is a lot of promotion going into this sale to draw quality buyers. Participating in the sale is a great way to grow awareness of your farm and genetics. Consignments close on August 30, 2026.
