Summer picnic and educational session
July 16, 2022
windland flats -- Princeton, Minnesota

Windland Flats hosted a NCHCA summer picnic on July 16 at their farm in Princeton, Minn.  The event was a great time to network with other Highland enthusiasts from throughout the Upper Midwest.  In addition, to a farm tour, the event featured Dr. Ashley Swenson, DVM and owner of Midwest Embryo Transfer Service.  Dr. Swenson presented the ins-and-outs of embryos, including the benefits of using embryos and how to decide if they are right for your operation.

Many thanks to Josh and Maria Krenz for hosting a great afternoon of learning and conversations.
Bulls account for 50% of your entire genetic pool for your future calves. Are you giving enough thought and detail to this important genetic decision? Join us for this special educational seminar to learn more on selecting the best bull for your farm.
The presenter for this special seminar is Skyler Anderson, the owner of Skye High Farms in Michigan. Skyler has been in the Highland business most of his life. He has bred and owned national Highland champions. Skyler is known and respected throughout the world for his Highland cattle acumen.
