Almosta farm's Baron

Stud Code:
Color:  Red
Sire:   Skye High Koal (D)
Dam:  Almosta Farm's Bea
Registration #  58,184
I had always known that the genetic combination of Spring Flight Connecticut Yankee and Skye High Koal would be outstanding. After waiting for quite some time seeing heifers come from them, Baron came along. He has had an extensive show career in the past 2 years . But as with all of our bulls what they can produce with their offspring is the true test.  He has a great foot and leg to carry him as he matures, along being structurally correct and well muscled , He is expecting his first calf crop this spring.

Almosta farm's Brogan

Owner:  Almosta Farm      Magnet, NE
Contact:  Sue Dyke    402-586-2631    sue@almostafarmhighlands.com
Stud Code:
Color:  Red
Sire:   Spring Flight Connecticut Yankee (D)
Dam:  LEA Bancroft (D)
Registration #  54,545
When Brogan was born on a very cold day, I instantly knew he was going to be something special. His Dam is an impact Dam and it was her first bull calf. I could see the stamp that his sire always put on his calves no master the female genetics. He had an extensive show career being on the ROE both years. But his true test would be can he produce the consistency that his sire did? And after several breeding seasons, the answer is yes. His calves are well muscled , structurally correct with great disputations. His daughters are passing on these traits to their offspring. His market animals whether purebred or crossbred have outstanding rate of gain whether grass finish or grain.

J bar t's xtreme

Owner:  Almosta Farm      Magnet, NE
Contact:  Sue Dyke    402-586-2631    sue@almostafarmhighlands.com
Stud Code:
Color:  Brindle
Sire:   HSC Steel Reserve (ET,D)
Dam:  RTH Xena
Registration #  56,705
I had always appreciated Steel Reserve and thought when I needed another bull there would be a son available. When I saw Xtreme as a yearling at a Colorado show, I knew he was the one. He has had a few calf crops with different female genetics and he has exceeded my expectations. Whether breeding stock or market animals he puts his stamp on them with a sound foot and leg, well muscled and structurally correct. But most of all a good disposition. His market animals with their great rate of gain are finishing off within the customer's time frame. His first cross bred will arrive this spring.

Stud Code:
Color:  Black
Sire:   Sunset Limited Edition (AI,D)
Dam:  Du Boise Panthere
Registration #  46,377
Koal won many awards through his 2 year show career with him being honored with the 2010 National Grand Champion Bull and the 2009 Show Bull of the Year. His true test though was passing on his genetics that would produce structural correctness, muscling, but most of all his disposition.  His attributes are so strong they are passed on consistently with any purebred and commercial female genetics.
