I grew up on a crop and swine farm near Glenville MN where I still live with my young son, Rory.
My family had a show pig operation and we exhibited pigs and cattle across the country.
I was a member of the 2018 livestock judging team at South Dakota State. One memorable highlight, I was 10th overall reasons at Louisville/NAILE.
I graduated with an agricultural degree in 2019 and returned home to work on the family farm.
I currently work for Compeer Financial as a Livestock and Dairy Insurance Officer serving the state of MN.
I coach the 4H livestock judging team in Freeborn county, MN and Judge shows throughout the Midwest.

open show - garrett barton

​Garrett Barton from Cheyenne WY. Garrett grew up in San Diego CA separated from the agriculture world until he was introduced to showing livestock as a freshman in high school. He graduated from the University of Wyoming where he and his judging teammates were in the top ten at every national contest. He now owns and operates Classic Cattle Company with his wife Megan and three children. They focus on selling competitive show cattle to youth exhibitors and helping them with all aspects of their projects throughout the year.
