Colby Lind and his wife, Tracy, live in Rushford, Minnesota, where they are raising their four children—Tate, Channing, Laramie, and Legacy.
A 2009 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Colby earned his degree in Agricultural Education and Animal Science. During his time at the university, he was a standout member of the livestock evaluation team, earning multiple top-10 finishes at national contests across the country. Today, Colby serves as the Agricultural Education instructor and FFA advisor at Rushford-Peterson Schools. In addition to his role in education, he and his family manage a 125-head cow/calf operation, raising Red Angus and Hereford cattle. The Lind family actively exhibits their cattle at major shows and sales nationwide. |
Their program has been recognized on some of the biggest stages in the industry, with national wins at shows including the National Western Stock Show (Denver), North American International Livestock Exposition (Louisville), Fort Worth Stock Show, American Royal (Kansas City), Canadian Western Agribition, and the Red Angus Junior Nationals. In 2023, Colby was honored as the Red Angus Herdsman of the Year, a testament to the quality of their program and his dedication to the breed.
Colby is passionate about mentoring the next generation of livestock enthusiasts. Whether in the classroom, in the barn, or at the backdrop, he finds purpose in sharing his knowledge and helping youth grow into confident, capable leaders in the livestock industry.

Jeff Bunker, and his wife Angela, own and operate J&A Charolais in Sparta, Wisconsin. J&A Charolais is a purebred Charolais seedstock operation which includes the sales and marketing of cattle, embryos, and semen throughout the nation.
J&A Charolais has an active embryo program, utilizes artificial insemination, and keeps extensive performance records on all animals. The show ring is used as an advertising tool at local, state, and national shows. Numerous champions have been produced including winners at the American Royal, Black Hills Stock Show, and many Midwest State Fairs. |
The herd is marketed through private treaty sales and consignment sales throughout the Midwest.
Jeff, a lifelong cattleman, has judged cattle shows at the local, state, and national levels. Junior shows are especially important to Jeff and Angela as they are involved in many youth organizations. Jeff and Angela have two daughters, Shade – 21 years old who will be a senior this year at Iowa State and Breeze – 19 years old who will be a sophomore at Iowa State this year.
