friday:

  • All Day                   Food trucks available for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  • 9:00 am                 Junior and Market animals in place
  • 10:00 am               Vet checks for junior and market animals
  • 1:00 pm Junior show
    • The juniors may show any animal and they do not need to have the animal registered in their name with AHCA.
    • Juniors are permitted to show heifers or steers.
    • Juniors must be registered with NCHCA and AHCA, which is free to all juniors.
    • If juniors are showing animals from another farm, they must have that animal signed up as part of the junior entries
  • Junior Showmanship
    • Immediately following the junior show with four age brackets and a novice division
  • Open Sovereign Heifer Classes
  • Immediately following junior showmanship
  • Open Market Animal Classes
  • Immediately following the sovereign heifer show
  • Junior Costume Class following market show.
  • 3:00 pm                 Open Show and Sale Animals in place
  • 5:00 pm                 Vet checks for any remaining animals​

saturday

  • All Day                   Food trucks available for breakfast and lunch.
  • 9:00 am: Breeding Animal Open Show
    • Will start with a bagpiper playing as tradition dictates
    • Open show order:
      • Cow/calf class
      • Heifer classes
      • Bulls classes
      • Group classes
  • 3:00 pm: Females of Fall Sale
    • The sale will be live in the arena. Get your bidder number early!
  • 6:00 pm: Banquet, Awards Ceremony and North Star Raffle
  • Steele Saloon- Steele Co. Fairgrounds
  • Buffet dinner. Bar will be open for cocktails.
  • Tickets must be purchased before the August 30th deadline.
    • Adult (Age 11 and up)                   $50.00
    • Kids (Aged 10 and under)             $15.00
    • Please sign up soon to help us plan for numbers​
  • 6:00 pm: Banquet, Awards Ceremony and North Star Raffle​​
